Bill Thomas suggested we give a laminated replica of the Military Veterans Plaque as a gift to former and all new sponsors.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS
Ladies of the Auxiliary joined the Post members to hear our guest speaker, Laurie Fulton who made an excellent presentation and handed out brochures She spoke of the many great ways Grace Community Church is doing. President Juanita Townsend candidly mentioned the list the Auxiliary and the Post are already doing.

Laurie's goal is to unite many organizations into a somewhat unified group together to do bigger and better things for the Troops.

She elaborated on the great need and appreciation our military men and women express when they receive our moral support with greeting cards, letters, phone calls, email, tangible products, etc., A supply of phone cards are always welcome especially tin times of dire need.

Laurie has been working closely with local church leaders and service-connected chaplains. She believes they have a better relationship with the military people. Much discussion continued in this vitally important project. Our Post and Auxiliary thanked our guest.

MEETING CLOSED
